Anwita: Hey everyone! Welcome back! Can you believe summer break’s over already? Akansh: Absolutely, it feels like only a while ago, we had a whole month stretched out before us, but now, here we are, at the brink of a new year, armed with new notebooks— Anwita: --and renewed energy! Although, understandably, a few of us might have forgotten how to wake up without an alarm. (laugh) Akansh: Guilty. But, honestly? It's kind of exciting to be back. I missed seeing my classmates—I mean, some of them. (laughs) Anwita: Hey, watch it! But Akansh, don’t you agree that even though you might not have wanted the summer fun to end, you were also looking forward to coming back to school after a long while? Akansh: A hundred percent! Talk about antithetical feelings! I finally understood that figure of speech! (both laugh) Anwita: From swimming to enjoying seasonal fruits like mangoes, lychees, watermelons, I enjoyed myself! Nothing too adventurous but, I felt at peace. It felt like a well-deserved break and now I know I can enjoy the year ahead well rested and with patience. How did you spend your vacation, Akansh? Akansh: Well, what’s vacation without family, right? We travelled, went on drives, played board games and made memories. I think I really needed to see their smiles and listen to those heartfelt conversations to know how much they truly support and care for me. Anwita: It truly was a summer, in part because it rained so much! Haha! Anyway, I guess it’s back to the old routine now. Akansh: That’s one way to look at it. Or, you can see it this way: whether last year was amazing or kind of rough, this is our chance to reset. We get to decide how this year’s going to be. Anwita: Especially for the students of std 1-6 who are beginning their new academic year today. Don't get flustered. Keep learning, keep exploring. Keep doing what brings peace to you. Akansh: Even though a new year means more studies, things that bring about creativity, patience, observation like journaling, drawing, travelling allow us to grow as humans and understand the world around us better so make sure you allow your body to rest by incorporating them in your busy schedules. Anwita: Because it isn't about achieving straight As or joining every club. It is about trying and not giving up even when things get tough. Akansh: Exactly. Remember: the best part is that we’re not doing this alone. We’ve got teachers who care, friends who’ve got our back, and maybe even some new people to get to know. Anwita: Let’s make it count. Rise up and reach for the sky! Let’s show ourselves what we can really do. Akansh: On that note, these are your school editors
